We’re back at it again with another pop-up at the Fairfax Beer Garden. Our good friends at High Side Craft Beer Bar are once again hosting the beer garden in the back of their parking lot. Good beer, ciders, free limited edition custom glassware (for first 200 through the door), support to a local charity, raffles, and other local companies will be there. One of the hardest parts about operating Withered Fig as an online store is assisting customers with sizing. Sizing denim and pants can be hard, but we make do with as much information as possible, to include information from you – our customers (such as providing us your measurements from your best fitting pair). When it comes to shirts and tees, we think there’s a little more leeway, and that most people can get by with a couple basic measurements (chest and shoulders).

Railcar Fine Goods has really expanded their business in the last couple years from their core of denim to introducing shirting, apothecary, and to opening up their retail and barber shop. Railcar is unique in that all their clothing is made in-house from the initial cut of the fabric, to the sewing, to the final assembly for packing and shipping; and it’s all done out of their 5,000 square feet building in Monrovia, CA. When you start talking with Steven, the owner of Railcar, the immediate thing you’ll sense is his sincere enthusiasm for the work that he does in making quality clothing.
